Principle of Operation: The Pump Detector Indicator is based on analyzing the dynamics of buy and sell orders in the order book. It evaluates sharp changes in order volume and their direction, helping to identify potential price pumps (sharp price increases) and dumps (sharp price decreases).

Description: The indicator uses two main variables: "possible pump" and "possible dump." These signals are crucial for assessing market conditions but can be misleading during trending movements. It is recommended to pay attention to signals during accumulation periods to predict pumps and distribution periods for predicting dumps. Pump signals are based on more stable indicators, while dumps require more detailed analysis and are suited for experienced traders.

Algorithmic Trading: For algorithmic trading, you can use bots to execute trades based on "pump" and "dump" signals over several cycles. This allows for the automation of trading processes in response to the indicator's signals. Recommended settings for such bots include:

  • TP (Take Profit): 0.5% - 1%

  • SSO (Order Grid Step): 0.15% - 0.3%

  • SO (Number of Orders in Grid): 5 - 8

  • Martingale (Martingale Ratio): 2

  • DSSO (Distance of Order Grid Steps): 1.5 - 1.7

  • Number of Cycles: 2-5

Features: The Pump Detector does not have universal settings for all assets. Each asset requires individual adjustment of the indicator for the most accurate analysis and reliable signals.
